Rich’s has the largest and longest-running program of frozen a la carte ice cream novelties designed specifically to meet the nutritional needs of school kids. They have the only program making every treat in a nut-free and peanut-free facility! In fact, they were making “smart snacks for schools” decades before the regulations came out. Maybe that’s why the USDA used Rich’s experience and input when they designed the current regulations.

In 1910 Paul Rich Sr. expanded his Buffalo, New York dairy to make Rich’s Ice Cream. His son moved from Buffalo to West Palm Beach and started Rich’s Ice Cream Co. there as well. The company spread throughout Florida and the Caribbean Islands because the founder was a pilot. Rich’s has expanded and gained popularity throughout the US, and today they ship to Hawaii and Guam.
